In evaluating bug 4429208 I threw in a TextField with the swing components to test the differences in selection behavior. When I bring it up with build 70 on Solaris both the TextField and JTextField think they have focus, and it looks like KeyEvents are dispatched to both components as typing shows up in both. I've attached the test case.
