Plug-in users would like to specify a background color for applet's gray box for the time while applet is loading. Currently the color is light gray.
Also, provide a tag to specify custom message in the gray box. There is also a request to provide a tag to suppress the message, which can be accomplished by specifying an empty string in custom message.
I would suggest to provide a tag to specify a color for the string message as well.
