Installed : j2re 1.4.0 b74 and Jaws 1.0.1_01 b04
OS : Solaris sparc 8 and x86 7
Browser : Netscape 4.7x

Launching 2D feature demo by way of the browser, the demo aborts with "Unexpected Signal : 11".
Error dialog comes up from Netscape and the error mssages as below are displayed on it;

To reproduce;
1. Installed j2re 1.4.0 b74 and Jaws 1.0.1_01 b04
2. Launch netscape browser 4.7x.
3. Go to the URL
http://i18n-u1-26c.eng.sun.com:8080/jaws-i18n/doc/jaws-standard.html
4. Click the url for Test Items 4. I18N 2D Test

This seems to be jre problem, however, when the same 2D demo for JPI or java application is excuted with Java Plug-in 1.4.0-beta_refresh-b74 or java command (1.4.0-beta_refresh-b74), this kind of error does not occur and the demo works fine.
Therefore, I filed this bug as "javawebstart/other" bug.
If needed, please change the category.

This problem is still reproducible with merlin b78 and JaWS1.0.1_01 FCS.
I tried to test 4 different machines;
OS : Solaris7, 8, 9/Sparc
     Solaris 8,9/x86 (* these are installed on same machine)

I'll try to test with b79 when it's prmoted.

I confirmed that this bug is not reproducible for both of JaWS and JPI with b79 on Solaris8 x86, Solaris7,9 Sparc and RH linux 7.1.
