On jtgb4u2c1, VMark in C2 mixed mode gets a bus error with Merlin build 74

"Thread t@406 gets a bus error. Serviceability agent
indicates that the bus error is in the interpreter codelet for ifgt (something is loaded from i2 which
looks like it should be an oop but it's unaligned so it bus errors).

Stack trace has a few return entry points, which , a c2i adapter, and an nmethod for
java/io/BufferedInputStream.read().

This is a new problem (or one I haven't seen yet) and looks new and needs a bug report. "
