JDK Build - 77
OS - Win2000
Hardware - Intel - Pentium II
Steps to Reproduce :-
1.Decrease the free space on some drive ( for me it was D:) to about 41MB
2.Install JDK-build 77
3.while unpacking an error dialog pop-up saying :-
There is not enough free space on D:\ drive to extract this package , Please free up 38.17MB and click retry
4. Installer exits
I tried with different capacities of free space (39 MB , 50 MB , 65 MB and 75 MB )to test for boundary condition
Installation passes when free space is about 75MB
Actually after installing JDK there is an entry corresponding to installed JDK in ADD/REMOVE programs which shows the size of JDK as 75 MB
So the error message should be changed to "Free Space should be 75 MB "
The snapshot of the disk capacity and error message is attached
