      java version "1.2.2"
Classic VM (build JDK-1.2.2-W, native threads, symcjit)

It would be nice if a new command line option could be
added to the java command, -vendor. The reason is that in the current
scenario , there are lot of jvms residing in my PC which came with various
products and having different versions. And each of them play with the PATH
variable such that if I go to a dos command and execute java classname ,I dont
know whose jvm is being invoked.
