JRE 1.4.0-beta2 at /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0/jre
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition 1.4.0-beta2-b77
Java (TM) Plug-in 1.4.0
the symbolic link from ...plugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji140.so
to .../usr/lib/netscape/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so
and .../usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so (here,sharing folder with
libflashplayer.so and libnullplugin.so)
also tried before with the ns610/libjavaplugin_oji140.so.-
Sorry to bother you if it is not a bug, since I am just a newbie at LINUX.
I have just found the following old variable declared...
NPX_PLUGIN_PATH=/usr/java/jdk/jre/plugin/i386/ns4
I am going to check out all without this variable and if it happened to be the
reason of this 'bug' I will inform you.
What I cannot explain is why the browser accepts JDK1.3's plugin.
My system is LINUX Mandrake 8.0 (i686) [kernel 2.4.3-20mdk #1]
