Spans drawn using incorrect colors on win32 in 16 bpp mode

      Change the display mode to 16 bits per pixel.
      Run SwingSet
      Note that the progress bar (as SS2 is loading) displays a funky
      maroon color for the progress indicator instead of the usual light purple
      color.
