Not sure whether it is a 2D bug. Please put it in the right subcategory if it is not a 2D bug

OS : Windows XP Final release
      Java : Merlin build 81
      Hardware Pentium

To reproduce install the jdk on Windows XP. Launch any java application with a frame like any demo. After the demo is launched, close the application by clicking on the close button of the frame (X button on the top right). The control does not return to the command line. It just hangs. We have to kill the task to get out of it.
I think it is more of a XP bug as it is not recognising the window closing event of the application.
