This is observed in Solaris/Linux.
How to reproduce :
1. Start Java2Demo.jar from <JDKB81_HOME> by using the command java -jar Java2Demo.
2. Click the Clipping Tab and in the that tab click the demos.clipping.Areas
3. Clone the panel four time by clicking on the clone button . click the pear botton in the fourth clone . The pear is not seen is the tools are displayed .
4. Make six clones the Pear is not at all seen even when tools are not visible.
This problem is reproducible in earlier builds also . As early as Kestrel also .
