Kanji characters on Linux are hard to read

      It's hard to read Kanji characters with many number of strokes,
      especially the character '\u6709' by seeing a few as it.

      You can see this problem by launching ControlPanel on Red Hat
      Linux 6.2 Japanese. It's on the first checkbox label on the
      Basic tab.

      The attached files are snapshots rendered on native application
      'gfontsel' and java swing application 'ControlPanel'.
      You can see the difference between them in the red circle on the
      snapshots.
