Launch a JDK 1.4 demo w/JDK 1.4 (e.g. Stylepad with JDK 1.4 beta 1). With JAWS and the Java Access Bridge running, you will not get any speech in reaction to events (such as hitting F10 to bring up the menu bar, or arrowing through the text, etc.).
