'-client' option didn't crash for a overnight run, but the performance is much worse than '-server' option and can not be offered to our customer

jdk1.4.0 is tested against with the same java options, including '-server', it successfully finished a 2-hour run without JVM crash and the performance is similar to jdk1.3.1_02.
