When using the Track Mouse feature in Ferret suite on JEditorPane HTML Demo, I found that lots of times "character under mouse" and "word under mouse" do not point to the corresponding character or word in the demo.
STEP TO REPRODUCE:
1. install j2sdk1.4.0 locally.
2. copy jaccess.jar and jaccess-examples.jar from jaccess-1.4_beta to $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ext/ directory
3. copy accessibility.properties from /home/heidiche/accessibility.properties to $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ directory. Make sure the Ferret is not commented out.
4. launch SwingSet2 demo and go to JEditorPaneHTML Demo.
5. on the Ferret monitor, go to "setting" -> "Track Mouse"
6. move the mouse to any work or character you want and check the Ferret monitor to see if the corresponding character and word is presented correctly.
RESULTS:
Around 25% of chance, the word and character is presented correctly. However, 75% of chance, the corresponding word or character is not shown correctly in Ferret monitor.
Note: I have talked to Lynn about this new bug, which was fixed by him before and functioned properly. Since this is a low priority bug, he will fix in Hopper release.
