I've added an attachment to help explain the problem. The Java Look and Feel Design Guidelines state that "Once users have displayed a menu with a keyboard sequence, the subsequent keypress can activate a command only from that menu". In our case, once we display the Tools menu, if we then press Alt-g to activate the Aggregate Manger menu item, the Go menu is posted instead. If the letter "g" by itself is pressed, instead of Alt-g, then the behavior is as expected. Either the code should work as documented, or the documentation should reflect how the code works.
