Java should support the Active-X Bridge and bean packager technologies.
Originally, the Java Plug-in was based on this support. However, this is
no longer true in 1.4. The bridge support was removed to allow development
work to continue on the plugin under a new codebase, and also due to a lack of
customer interest. Now that the technology has been removed, interest is
growing and we should consider re-implementing the support on a 1.4 codebase
      and more fully supporting it.

      FULL PRODUCT VERSION :
      All jdk/jre 1.4 versions

FULL OPERATING SYSTEM VERSION :Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP
      use131

A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Not supporting ActiveX migth be a political decision. But
software developers having their requierements to integrate
with some Microsoft technology, rely on things like the
      ActiveX Bridge.
So please reintegrate the ActiveX Bridge into JDK/JRE 1.4
again. It would be very customer friendly.

REGRESSION. Last worked in version 1.3.1

      EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
Working ActiveX Bridge in JDK/JRE 1.4

This bug can be reproduced always.
