Cluster cannot start gui: VM:java.net.UnknownHostException: -

      Customer has a Cluster: ux-al and ux-peg
      using veritas-VolumeManager VRTSvxvm version 3.1,REV=07.21.2000.07.59
      Solaris 2.6 5/98


      When he is on note ux-al, he can start the gui of ux-peg
      everything is fine
      When he is on note ux-peg, he cannot start the gui of ux-al:

      he got the error - message VM:java.net.UnknownHostException: -

      There is no such server. If an address is shown in the DETAIL section, try
      connecting to the address as the host name.

      checking the network they can ping each other by hostname or ip-adress

      The stopped and started the gui using Bug 4418191


      1) shutdown, close or kill any vmsa tasks in memory
      2) /etc/rc2.d/S96vmsa-server stop
      3) ps -ef | grep vm should be no responses
      4) kill any responses
      5) /etc/rc2.d/S96vmsa-server start
      6) vmsa &


      He removed the vmsa -package and installed it again

      The truss shows that the applications hung staring the gui
