Steps to Reproduce :

1.) Install the J2SDK (i586) bundles on the target machine 64-bit (Itanium)
2.) Invoke the browser and load any clock applet's from the below mentioned URL
http://sqesvr.eng.sun.com/deployment1/ws/doc/proc/JPI_bat.html

Result : Plug-in gets killed while loading without any message , further when you refresh the browser it would open the Java Console and would fail to load plug-in

Expected Result : It should pop up a message saying "Plug-in is not supported on 64-bit(Itanium) machines "
