Java2Demo menu items not always visible on Solaris platforms. After mousing over them, they will eventually appear.

When selecting the menus, "File" and "Options", there seems to be an update problem with the menu items. After launching the application and toggling between the two menus, the items in each menu are often not displayed.

If you mouse over the menu items, they will eventually be displayed. The bug is easily reproducible after first launching the Java2Demo.

Other notes:
----------
- The bug has not been seen on Win32, but on both Solaris platforms (sparc and IA).
- The bug is reproducible in Merlin JDK1.4 FCS as well as early hopper releases (last observed in 1.4.1-beta-b07).
- The bug gives the impression of low memory conditions. Updates appear very slow and memory utilization from Memory Monitor appear high.

Steps to reproduce:
------------------
1) Set JAVA_HOME variable to Merlin FCS (or recent Hopper build)
2) Go to JDK demo directory:
        /demo/jfc/Java2D
3) Launch the demo
$JAVA_HOME/bin/java -jar Java2Demo.jar
4) After the demo launches, single-click on the "File" menu.
5) Begin mousing over both menus and you will observe that the menu items
are not present.
6) After mousing over a few times, the menu items will eventually appear.
