reproduce:
1) tar -xvf gs13-b06.tar to get GlobalSuite directory
2) copy the attached long-manual_zh_CN_part1.txt to GlobalSuite directory
3) use the attached testlistmap.properties file to replace the old one in GlobalSuite directory
4) use the attached CanvasRenderTest2.java to replace the old one in test/font-render/awt/one and test/font-render/2d/one
5) run "run_gs.sh long-manual_zh_CN_part1.txt"
where jdk directory is d:/j2sdk1.4.1
6) got the error for all 2d testcase: all S-Chinese characters are displayed in square box. Please see the attached CanvasRenderTest2_err.zip

The problem can be demonstrated with the attached Bug.java
On Windows 2000, zh_CN locale, with any logical font specified, the glyphs show as missing chars.
The problem is not shown on Solaris zh_CN.
