Currenty, every version of the plugin claimes to provide support for each Java release that has proceded it as well as a special mimetype that indicates the particula version of itself. We should provide a way to cause the plugin only to report the mimetype that is particular to itself.

      Consider this situation:

A user has 1.4.1 installed. The plugin in this version would report that it supported 1.4.0 1.3.1 etc... and it's special mimetype jpi-1.4.1XXXX. If, when it came out, the user then installs 1.4.2 they would have to uninstall 1.4.1 since 1.4.2 would also claim support for 1.4.1 1.4.0 etc...

Thus in order to gain support for the latest releas the user must give up support for jpi-1.4.1XXXXX. If we could cause 1.4.1 to restrict itself to only report it's specific mimetype the user could keep this support and also have support for the latest version. This should work today on UNIX with the current archetecture.
