P1 Description
When Java Plug-in hopper build 14 is installed on windows 2000 with service pack2. Java Plug-in MIME types are registered but applets are not loaded .
I checked on 4 windows 2000 machines , 2 of the machines it works and 2 of the machines it doesn't work , More information on the investigation will be provide as available and will update this bug.
I have also tried via regxpcom ,it didn't work .Netscape gets killed with error.
Plug-in works fine on the same machine with other netscape versions and IE.
To reporduce the problem :
1. Install Java Plug-in hopper build 14
2. Make sure Plug-in is enabled in the Java Plug-in control panel for Netscape 6
browser
3. Load Java Plug-in BAT test from
http://sqesvr.sfbay.sun.com/deployment1/ws/tests/autotests/mimetypes/testcases/Test_13.html
4. In the Netscape 6.2.2 -> about plugin all the MIME types are registered.
Tested on : Windows 2000 prof, Netscape6.2.2
Host names : Bharath , dnm012
