JRE Build: Hopper Beta b14
JRE Location: http://sqesvr.sbay/deployment3/hopper/HB-beta-14/win32.b14
Platform: Win2K/Win98
You would need to have machine with MS-VM installation.
1) Install JRE
2) Go to Start-/ControlPanel and invoke Plugin Control Panel
3) Choose Browser Tab and enable Internet Explorer (if not enabled).
4) Apply and quit
5) Click on Start->Run and type regedit
6) Check the registry Key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Java VM\\EnableJavaConsole
The registry value is shown as hexadecimal(0x00000000)
7) Go to Start-ControlPanel and invoke Plugin Control Panel
8) choose Browser Tab, Disable internet Explorer
9) Apply and quit
10) Click on Start->Run and type regedit
11) Check the registry Key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Java VM\\EnableJavaConsole
The registry value is displayed in binary (01 00 00 00)
The value should have been displayed in hexadecimal form.
I got a confirmation from Xiaobin that this is a bug
