The Japanese input method is turned off when moves to the next segment in v3.1 3b on Solaris 8 while it is not turned off on Windows 2000 and 98.
I think it may be helpful for the user if the Japanese input method is turned on in any segment until the user turnes it off manually.

Since it is not a bug of the editor, I would like to ask Hiroko's help to close this bug.( it is a bug of JDK).

Hi Tony,
Can you please let me know the bugID of the JDK so that I can close this bug?

Hi, Hiroko:
I don't know the ID of the bug, and in fact, I do not know whether there is anybody fired such a bug against JDK.
Thanx!

In fact, in all the asian IM, when you are switching from a cell to another cell in a JTable component, the IM window will close or disabled, you have to restart the IM, then you can use the IM.
Thanx!
