Hi,
We are testing Hopper auto-download/auto-redirect using b21 and noticed that JPI
can not determine/select which browser(s) it is used as the default Java Runtime
Tested Platform: winNT/WinME
Browser: IE 6
Build: j2re-1_4_1 (b21)
Details:
If I install JRE via auto-download process, then JPI can not
determine which browser it is used as the default Java Runtime. Even I have
all NS6 and IE installed, both boxes for Microsoft Internet Explorer and
Netscape 6 are unchecked in the browser tab of the JPI Control Panel.
However, on the same machine/browser, if I install JRE in the normal way, then
both boxes are checked in the JPI Control Panel.
Is it a bug or intentionally designed this way for auto-download?
Thanks,
Hung
