A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
we have program using jni and running on jdk1.2.2.
we want now to use jdk 1.3 but the option Xusealtsigs is not
recognize :
Unrecognized option: -Xusealtsigs
Could not create the Java virtual machine.
i have seen in your bug data base, bug about this option on
jdk 1.4 but i have sthe same problem with it.
Is this option supported on jdk 1.3 and 1.4?
the problem about sigill & jni is it corrected in these new
versions?
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
1. set java version
2. launch "java -Xusealtsigs
