The Sun Download Manager is a 100% Java application, designed to run on Solaris and Windows under Java 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4. Our testing has shown that drag and drop only works between Netscape & SDM for Java 1.4 on Solaris. It will not work for any of the other combinations of platform and java version. This is a major easy of use issue. The application was written using 1.2.1 to ensure compatablity with Solaris 8.
