InstallShield Wizard window shows wrong j2sdk, j2re versions during installation process. Instead of j2sdk1.4.2 or j2re1.4.2 it shows j2sdk142, j2re142 (no dots)
Same way it is presented in Control Panel Add/Remove Programs.

Windows platforms
Builds : j2sdk-1_4_2-fcs-bin-administrator_01_oct_2002_18_37-windows-i586-01_oct_2002.exe
j2re-1_4_2-fcs-bin-administrator_01_oct_2002_18_37-windows-i586-01_oct_2002.exe

Steps:
- run j2re.exe (j2sdk.exe)
- InstllShield Wizard window coming with the wrong version
- after installation, check Currently Install programs in Add/Remove Programs

As per the format adopted in previous releases, the strings under question should have the following values:

for SDK : Java 2 SDK, SE v1.4.2

for JRE : Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2
