For build jdk1.4.2(b04) or jdk1.4 on Solaris Sparc7(zh.GBK), it displays meaningless fonts through testcase: CharView.java.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Install jdk on Solaris Sparc7 within zh.GBK locale
2) get testcase from attachment.
#tar -xvf awt.tar
#cd awt
#java CharView
3) then input 4E00 into the dialog's textedit.
4) set the test control to 'TextField'
5) the display field shows garbage fonts.
