Start the java webstart bundled with 1.4.1_02b3. (version 1.2.0_02 build2)
Click on the help menu and go to "about javawebstart"
When viewed on from a Sparc 2.9 platform, any special characters are corrupted. e.g the copyright symbol appears as a block as do any special french characters.
Tested also on Linux, Sol IA and windows. Did not see the problem on these platforms (only seen on Sparc so far). Perhaps a locale problem.
Tested jaws version 1.2.0_01 b01 packaged with 1.4.1_01 on Sparc 2.9. The about javawebstart text looked ok on this build. Regression present.
Fix for 4804513 has probably introduced this.
