Customer reported that there is a problem with drawing menu items and scrollbars
(possibly even more things, did not check that) using 1.3.1_07 on greyscale
displays, as well as with a colour palette with 256 colours or less.

The problem can be viewed in the screenshots (greyMenu.bmp, greyDropDown.bmp). If the same application is run on a colour display, there is no problem (see colourMenu.bmp, colourDropDown.bmp).
