server compiler crash in the debug mode with -XX:+VerifyOptoOopOffsets

reproducible with 1.4.2 build 18 server copmiler debug VM only :

java_g -jar -Xcomp -XX:+PrintCompilation -XX:+VerifyOptoOopOffsets -server maxdLoad_1_8_0.jar

results in the following error:
