A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
I would be very happy to find links on the documentation for the API to small examples.
F.e. if I want to learn about java.util.logging.FileHandler, I would like to find a link to a small, WORKING example of how this feature can be used.
If not a complete program, just a few lines describing how it fits together with the rest of the logging-package would be good.

This goes for most of the API-documentation. Small examples would enhance the understanding of it greatly.

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
Links to small examples of how to use each specific API-feature. There are no links, as far as I know, pointing to any examples at all in the documentation.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :

Being a student, I use both the Sun's Java products and Microsoft's Visual Studio products. I find it very useful that msdn has examples for each method/property on the same page as the API's. I was wondering if Sun is planning to include examples for each class in their API's ?
