A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Your installation of Java for windows is placing it's cache in the root of the userprofile directory. When this profile is networkbased, every time the user logs on/off the computer, the chache content has to be synced.
Changing the cachelocation for every user is no real fun.
Please place the cachefolder where it belongs since the release of NT5 (Win2k). The path could be found in the registry under:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\Local AppData\"
