Verified
Platform: Solaris-Sparc/CDE
OS: sparc 5.8, sparc 5.9, sparc 5.10
Tested Build: j2sdk-1_4_2-rc-bin-b20-solaris-sparc-15_apr_2003.sh (Mantis-b20)
Steps to reproduce:
1) Install j2sdk-1_4_2-rc-bin-b20-solaris-sparc-15_apr_2003.sh
from
/java/re/jdk/1.4.2/promoted/rc/b20/bundles/solaris-sparc
2) Go to <JDK_install_dir>/jre/bin
launch the Plugin Java Control Panel
3) Click on "Cache" panel and then "Clear" button
Problem: The "Confirmation Needed- Cache" window is flashing without stopping
there is no other way for user to stop except kill the process from the command line. This is a regression. It passes if using j2sdk1.4.2-beta-b19
This problem seems to work fine on the same sparc machine using Gnome instead of CDE
