Metadata will be a key feature of Tiger.

We need to provide tools support for metadata so that it is easy
for developers to use various different kinds of metadata within a
single source file and for appropriate metadata processors to be
launched to process the metadata.

This project will probably involve defining a standard metadata
processor API, so that third parties can conveniently deliver
new metadata processors that fit into the standard tool.
