EXTRA RELEVANT SYSTEM CONFIGURATION :
Connection to the Internet via a proxy.
A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
If not connected to the Internet, jucheck.exe takes over any free processing time and hereby blocks other programs with lower priority from running.
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
1. Set the system to connect to the Internet via a proxy.
2. Install the appropiate java-version. ;)
3. When the proxy is either not connected to the Internet or not avaible start your system and see what happens...
EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
I expect jucheck.exe to try connecting again later.
Instead, jucheck.exe continuously trys to connect and takes any processing time avaible.
REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.
CUSTOMER SUBMITTED WORKAROUND :
Kill jucheck.exe in the Task Manager or just prevent it from loading.
