Drag and drop from Staroffice to Java application fails on Solaris. The text can be drag and dropped from the java application to staroffice but the reverse fails.

XDnD build located at:

Steps to reproduce:

1. Set the classpath to /net/sqindia/export/disk02/dnd/Tonga_DND_Exe_WS/src/DnDSLMerlin/DnDSLInteractive/classes

2. Compile /net/sqindia/export/disk02/dnd/Tonga_DND_Exe_WS/src/DnDSLMerlin/DnDSLInteractive/SRC/testcases/DnDSLInteractive_DnDTextFieldTest/DnDSLInteractive_DnDTextFieldTest.java

3. Run using 'java DnDSLInteractive_DnDTextFieldTest ${CLASSPATH}
4. Select 'STRING' and 'WITH NATIVE' options.
5. Open Staroffice Text document, type some text, select it, drag and drop on the 'Drop on me' textfield.
6. Drag and Drop fails.

NOTE: Copy /net/sqindia/export/disk02/dnd/Tonga_DND_Exe_WS/src/DnDSLMerlin/DnDSLInteractive directory to your local directory before compiling and executing it.
