The Appletviewer "Reload" menu option does not work with the JDK Demo Applets since Mantis B12 - jdk142-b12.
This bug was recently found with Mantis build B19 during code coverage testing.
- When the "Reload" menu option is selected, the appletviewer window will close (instead of reloading the applet).
- This bug is reproducable on both Solaris and Win32 platforms.
- The bug occurs with all JDK demo applets.
Steps to reproduce:
==================
1) Set your path variable to include appletviewer from Mantis B12 build (or later).
2) From the JDK binaries, Go to the applets demo directory:
./demo/applets
3) Select any demo applet
./demo/applets/Clock
4) Launch appletviewer
appletviewer example1.html
5) From the Applet Menu select "Reload"
the window will then close leaving the appletviewer process still active
(need to CNTL-C to exit)
