The whole window frame is black when a grayscale graphics card is used in a mixed configuration (colour and grayscale graphics cards).
When you drag the window to the colour display it is drawn correctly, but whenever it is shown on the grayscale display it shows a black window frame.
The display attached to the normal colour graphics card should be set as the primary display and colour depth set to at least 24 bits.
The colour palette of the Barco grayscale graphics card should be set to either user modifiable or in static gray mode with system
colors.
In addition, the window is drawn using the wrong colours when Static Gray with NO system colors is selected.
This could be a completely separate problem.
Both of the problems (black window frame & window drawn with wrong colours) can be reproduced using another grayscale graphics card (Eizo).
Finally, when 2 grayscale graphics cards are used - one attached to a VGA monitor and the other to a grayscale monitor - a problem is detected on the VGA display (set as primary, colour depth set to 8 bit and Static Gray Color
Palette either with or without system colors) where the window is drawn using many colours but not grey colours.
Again, this may be a separate problem.
