JRE version: 1.4.2
Problem: After you installed jre 1.4.2 by using j2re.exe, then you go to uninstall, you can see some links are not linked to what they say in support information.
1. Contact/Comments area, url is there, but no link www.java.com.
2. Support Telephone with not linked url, I guess it should phone number, why url?
3. Publisher: Sun Microsystems, Inc. links to java.com, is that right?
We have enough links to java.com in the support information.
4. readme not go any where, it looks a link, but it doesn't;
5. winXP-pro and win2003 are different, support information link to java.com in Xp, but not in win2003.
To reproduce:
1. go to http://webwork.sfbay.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html
2. click to Windows offline installation under jre,
3. download j2re-1_4_2-windows-i586.exe
4. install the jre
5. go to settings in windows-2003,
6. go to add/remove programs, click the jre you just installed
7. click the link for support information, you can see pop up windows with
above problems.
