Location : /net/mizu.sfbay/usr/re/jdk1.4.2_01/bundles/*/latest/

steps to reproduce:
1. Install 1.4.2_01 patched JRE bundle with the default options.
2. After installation completes, a PATCH.ERR file is getting created in J2re1.4.2_01 installation directory.

3. The file is removed when the JRE in uninstalled.

This problem is not observed when doing a full install with the patched j2re-patch.exe bundle.

This also not reproducible with the J2re.exe unpatched bundles.

not the expected behaviour.
