Few Issues with Uninstall/Modify option:

1. I have installed J2SEv1.4.2-NetBeans cobundle. It installs only J2SDK and not the public JRE, Java Web Start and Plug-in. In order for me to get the public JRE, web start and plug-in, i invoked control panel> Add/Remove programs> J2SE > Change > Chose "Modify"
- Select "install features and subfeature on the local hard disk" for Public JRE
- This way i could install public JRE< web start and plug-in
*** This does not work on NT - it just HANGS while "creating jars..." ***
i tried this on two of our NT machines.


2. This modify option, i can just go through the wizard, by clicking Next. Next... Finish (w/o making any changes other than clicking Next)
- just couldn't understand what the wizard did !!
- the progress bar was going from 0 to full saying that it was doing something
- there was no information on the Finish panel as what changes have been made to the system
