Build: Tiger M3
Uninstaller Error:
"You do not have sufficient access to remove Java-Application: ..... from the Add or Remove Programs list.
Please contact your system administrator."
coming when you try to remove JNLP application in Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs.
Steps:
- install Tiger M3 (j2re1.5.0)
- run any Demo javaws application from
http://java.sun.com/products/javawebstart/demos.html (I used notepad)
- go to Settings/Control Panel/<Add or Remove Programs> and uninstall j2re1.5.0
- do not close <Add or Remove Programs>
- next (to uninstall) will be your Notepad application
- now try to uninstall it
- first pop-up will say somethong about image removing (this is correct) and next one gona be Uninstaller Error
- everything done under one Admin user.
