In JCK interactive tests for JDK 1.4.2_02 the AWT Robot tests cause the machine to log out of the user session (This happens both on Gnome2.0 and CDE). If you telnet into the machine and try to run test from there it just fails but causes the UI to crash requiring a reboot to start again (but can continue with telnet session fine otherwise). This bug also occurs with 1.4.2 fcs.
Configurations tested on in lab:
Machine: ie-bombay
OS: Solaris 5.9
Platform: x86
GUI's tested on: Gnome 2.0
CDE
Graphics Card: Cirrus Logic GD5480 (2MB)
17 inch screen size
1024*768 256 colours at 70 MHz
Machine: xpwf2
OS: Solaris 5.9
Platform: x86
GUI's tested on: Gnome 2.0
CDE
Graphics Card: NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT M64/GeForce2/Quadro/GeFo
17 inch screen size
1024*768 256 colours at 70 MHz
JavaTest: 3.1.2 fcs b06
Steps to reproduce:
1. Run JavaTest
2. Create TestSuite
3. Execute api/java_awt/interactive/RobotTests.html#RobotTests
Expected results:
The test should execute without any exception.
Actual results:
User is logged out of session.
Upon restarting JavaTest and going back
to Robot tests this message appears in the bottom right hand panel:
Failed, Program 'export/home/jdks/j2sdk1.4.2_02/bin/java' interrupted! (Timed Out?)

Similar issues when running Automated Regression tests with 1.4.2_02 on Solaris9/x86, when the testsuite calls for robot tests which uses jemmy.jar, the user is logged out of the session. The specific test has been repeated manually which results in the same result. The steps for reproducing the manual failure:
copy /net/latte.ireland/deployment1/regtests/142/test/CTE_REGTEST/Generic/4088877 to somewhere locally.
setenv CLASSPATH /net/latte.ireland/deployment1/regtests/jemmy.jar:<above dir>
setenv PATH <142_02 java>
javac Test4088877.java
java Test4088877
