Plugin control panel cannot be launched under SLES 8.0 on AMD 64 bit opteron system. This prevents plugin basic acceptance tests from proceeding normally.

Configurations tested on in lab:

Machine: opteron2
OS: SLES 8.0
Platform: AMD Opteron 64 bit dual processor
GUI's tested on: KDE

Steps to reproduce:

1. Download 1.4.2_02b2 JDK RPM. RPM used can be found at
   sqesvr.sfbay/java/re/j2sdk/1.4.2_02/promoted/ea/b02/bundles
2. Install RPM
3. Launch plugin control panel from usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_02/jre/bin

Expected results:
Control Panel should launch without any exception.
 
Actual results:
Message appears in console: Error: can't find libjava.so.
Control Panel does not launch.
