Adding this for completeness in tracking Rave issues - Pointbase is already aware of the issue, we just need to make sure the follow thru happens - see snippet below pasted from email from Norm Nicholson (pointbase) to John Kline (sun):
"The parameterMetaData apparently was already requested by Jonathon Bruce and
is being provided either as an early fix for the current version 4.6 to for
version 4.7. Steve mentioned to me that he thought all requests
from Sun were being co-ordinated by Jonathon Bruce, so perhaps you could
mention your request for, and my answer on, the multi database support to him."
