A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
There is a compatibility problem with Sun JVM and Pogo game applets.

After applying the latest Windows service pack, the Microsoft VM is removed from the customer's system. Users install Sun JVM expecting Pogo game applets to
function but find that they are directed Microsoft site to download VM again.
For whatever reason, Pogo game applets are not compatible with Sun JVM.

Pogo users have reported "Corrupted or misinstalled VM" error message when trying to run Pogo applets.

User's comments:
"I play at a pogo.com and after a recent maintience my game wont load. It says Java corrupted or misinstalled. I installed the new version but now everytime I log into the game my computer freezes up. Can you help please?"
