A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
Since the Swing ProgressMonitor class does not offer access to any of its components, it is not possible to customize it.
One enhancement desired would be to enable changing the progress bar used in the progress monitor to "Indeterminate", a new function offered for progress bars in 1.4.0.
JUSTIFICATION :
The same logic applies to progress monitor use as for progress bars. Progress monitors are a convienience as opposed to adding progress bars to many UI elements.
EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
A new API method in the progressmonitor class to change the behavior of the progress bar to indeterminate.
