The J2SE SDK workspace has two readme files:

  src/share/doc/jdk/README
  src/share/doc/jdk/README.html

Both of these get installed. The request is to remove the
src/share/doc/jdk/README file from the J2SE workspace, leaving
the README.html file.

The content of the README file is a subset of the README.html file and was
the original format before we ever shipped an HTML version of the file.
We also kept it for those who want to read it using the "more"
command or Notepad, before browsers were prevalent.

We have also determined that the README file is not displayed by any installers
(nor is README.html -- see 4936159 "Add option to display README.html")

The README file has served its purpose and is no longer neeeded.
